What is Digitez ?

Digitize is a blockchain-based ecosystem and cryptocurrency which allows consumers to convert loose change into virtual currencies at the point of transaction. The loose change is tokenized into Digitize currency, allowing it to be used for payments, loyalty programs and exchanged for Etheruem or C20 to invest in the crypto index.

To help the world transition from a cash based society, to a digital one. Crypto-currencies are becoming widespread and popular due to their inherent benefits. Our aim is to provide the average consumer with a simple and seamless process in saving and converting their cash to virtual currencies. Digitize plans to target the South East Asian region where cash transactions are dominant.

HOW IT WORKS

Digitize allows consumers to convert their loose change into Digitize tokens. Digitize tokens can then be used as a payment system, or to contribute in retailer loyalty/reward programs.

Imagine walking down to your nearest grocery store and buying $22.50 in groceries. You pay for your total with $30 cash. The $7.50 change you will receive, can be sent straight to your digitize wallet by taping your phone on the Digitize scanner. The change will then be instantly saved straight to your digitize wallet.

Your saved Digitize tokens can be used as payments, to contribute to rewards programs, or used to exchange for Etheruem and C20.

The Digitize platform can be setup on any portable mobile device for the merchant to use independent of their POS system. This will enable merchants to embrace Digitize without having to undergo changes to their payment setup. The Digitize device will allow users to be able to pay and deposit funds to and from the merchant's cryptocurrency wallets. Merchants will also be able to allocate and provide Digitize tokens to consumers as part of their loyalty programs and promotions.

THE BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK

The decentralized network uses cryptography for security and allows transactions between retailers and consumers to have ownership and be verifiable. A Consensus Protocol creates a shared and trusted platform for community members to openly collaborate and exchange data through the Digitize network. Smart Contracts will permit trusted peer to peer transactions, with the ablity to scale based on set rewards/promotions. Smart contracts will also allow interactions to be enriched between community members.
